His comprehensive knowledge allows him to provide personalised high-quality support that empowers clients to reclaim their optimal health and physical abilities.

As a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) accredited by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), Gerard is recognised for his expertise in developing strength and rehabilitation programmes. He is also a proud member of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the British Geriatrics Society, underscoring his commitment to professional excellence, lifelong learning and passion for returning people to optimal health.

Gerard’s career includes 25 years working in elite professional sport, where he managed the health, fitness, sports therapy and conditioning of professional racing drivers. His client list includes champions and race winners in some of the most competitive motorsport categories worldwide. For 15 years, he served as the personal trainer to Sir Jackie Stewart, the three-time Formula 1 World Champion.

From 2012-2020, his leadership in strength and rehabilitation extended to his role as the Strength Rehabilitation Coach at Porsche Human Performance at Silverstone. Gerard played a pivotal role in designing and implementing rehabilitation and performance programmes for athletes experiencing multiple bone, joint and soft tissue injuries.  He also led the development and management of the facility’s concussion management protocol, ensuring top-tier care for all clients. He continues to work as a physiotherapist in motorsport with Hintsa Performance, an internationally renowned athletic and business performance supplier based out of Switzerland.

Since 2017, Gerard has been an integral part of the sports medicine team at the Wimbledon Tennis Championships, providing expert care to main draw players as well as junior competitors.
